Nineveh
The Lord commanded Jonah….
To go to the city of Nineveh…
So through his preaching, his habitants could change their lives
And move towards the true God.
Nineveh's great city in the empire of Assyrians.
Like the Babylonians, were ruthless and cruel.
Often fighting battles against other towns,
They had to change to not to be destroyed…
"They pierced the eyes of the prisoners,
they cut the ears, and they plucked the nose,
and made them enter the city chained,
under boos of the winning town".
They had provoked the god's wrath.
So he would convert, The Lord sent the Prophet….
To preach the penance and threaten their destruction
If it was not amended, praise forgiveness
Nineveh's great city in the empire of Assyrians.
Like the Babylonians, were ruthless and cruel.
Often fighting battles against other towns,
They had to change to not to be destroyed…
"Disobeying the order of the Lord,
Jonah took a ship that would take him to Tarshish,
in an opposite sense of Nineveh. (Hablado).
Nineveh's great city in the empire of Assyrians.
Like the Babylonians, were ruthless and cruel.
Often fighting battles against other towns,
They had to change to not to be destroyed…
…not to be destroyed…
The Assyrian empire came to an end…
The Assyrian empire came to an end…

The Storm
07:22

The Storm (Music and Lyrics by Ariel Perchuk)
(Inspired in Jonah 1-2, and Beethoven Symphony 6, 4th Movement)
Soprano: “Go, go, go to the great Nineveh and preach against it, because its wickedness has come up, before me.”
Tenor: Jonah ran away from the LORD and headed for Tarshish. He went down to Joppa.
Where he found a ship moored to that port.
After paying the fare, he went aboard and sailed for Tarshish to flee from the LORD.
Soprano: Then the LORD sent a great wind over the sea, and such a violent storm.
Soprano & Tenor: All the sailors were afraid and each one cried out to their own god. And they threw the load into the sea…
But Jonah had gone below deck, where he lied down and fell asleep. The captain went unto him and said,
Tenor: How can you sleep?
Soprano: Get up and call on your god! For us not to perish.
“Come; let us cast lots to find out who is responsible for this calamity.” They did it and fortune fell on Jonah. “Tell us, who is responsible for putting all this trouble on us? What kind of work do you do? Where do you come from?
Tenor: “I am a Hebrew and I worship the LORD, the God of heaven, who made the sea and the dry land.”
Soprano: “What have you done? What should we do to you to make the sea calm down for us?”
Tenor: “Pick me up and throw me into the sea, and it will become calm. I know that it is my fault that this great storm has come upon you.”
Soprano & Tenor: “Please, LORD, don’t let us perish for taking this man’s life. Then they took Jonah and threw him overboard.
Soprano: Then, the LORD provided a huge fish to swallow Jonah, and Jonah stayed there three days and three nights in the belly of the fish.
Solos….
Soprano: From inside the fish Jonah prayed to the LORD, his God.
Tenor: “In my distress I called the LORD,
and he answered me.
From the depths of the realm of the dead I called for help,
and you listened to my cry!
Soprano & Tenor: But you, LORD my God,
brought my life up from the pit.
Tenor: But I, with shouts of grateful praise,
will sacrifice myself to you.
What I have vowed I will make good.
I will say, ‘Salvation comes from the LORD'.
Soprano: And the LORD commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land.

DARKER (Shades of Mysteria) Music: Ariel Perchuk, Lyrics: Marcos Nieva Green
Mesmerized through windows of time
All alone inside cells of light
Shades of mysteria are darkening my world
Cold and snow are landscapes along
Moons and stars are odds in this symphonic void
Spiraling into virtuality
Is this real or insanity?
Windows of time close and open at once
Labyrinth of mirrors alive
It's surreal, I'm trapped in shades of mysteria
...in an ice cold mysteria...
Slavery inside a dream
Cruel and blackened by thy beast
You released the demon of your madness
Chains of nothing more than air
Cells of void inside your head
Shut the lights and set the shades and darkness
...a pale grey mysteria...
(Solo)
...a blood red mysteria...
...we're in shades of mysteria
Slavery inside a dream
Cruel and blackened by thy beast
You released the demon of your madness
Chains of nothing more than air
Cells of void inside your head
Shut the lights and set the shades and darkness
Slavery inside...
